I need help with GPS guidance for the purchase?

my husband has a position that requires him to travel a lil bit .. and took a group of Garmin friends to go to Chicago and now we are thinking of buying a GPS .. thingy well my sis in law bought a Magellan Maestro 3100 for $ 199 Garmin Street Pilot C530 and wanted more as a cost of $ 300 or something .. Which would you choose?
